Spend an evening with us, in the company of your friends and family and many others, as we learn about the significance of fasting in the month of Ramadan. Hear from Fizar Zainal, Executive Director of Religious and Educational League of Radin Mas (Badan Agama & Pelajaran Radin Mas; BAPA), as he also shares the customs associated with iftar (break fast) and how people come together for iftar each day.

Do not miss this opportunity to experience iftar at the museum, with delicious nasi ambeng, packaged and served from the heart. Participants may also have an exclusive after hours visit of the the Packaging Matters exhibition.

Limited spaced available. Price includes a meal and presentation. Participants will be invited to sit on the floor and eat with their hands during the break fast. This programme is held in conjunction with the exhibition Packaging Matters: A Story of Food Packaging in Singapore.


Speaker's biography
Fizar Zainal is presently one of the leading young ustaz (religious teacher) in Singapore. He is currently the Executive Director of Badan Agama & Pelajaran Radin Mas (BAPA) and he oversees the daily operations and manages the religious programmes at BAPA. Being an avid and frequent traveller, he also holds the position of Director in a local travel agency called KembaraUstaz.sg, where he provides insights and strategic direction for the Muslim travel market.
